Salvatore Ferragamo Attracts Stars to The Louvre's First-Ever Fashion Show (Resort 2013)

The Louvre had never before hosted a fashion show, but the museum jumped headfirst into the fashion game when it opened up the collonade of the Denon Wing for Salvatore Ferragamo's Resort 2013 runway. Whatever you were doing last night, if you weren't sitting catwalk-side or at the afterparty VIP dinner, you were missing out.

The Italian fashion house flew in over 500 guests from all over the world, and head designer Massimiliano Giornetti dressed a long list of starlets and fashion notables in head-to-toe Ferragamo — among them were Hilary Swank, Freida Pinto, Leighton Meester, Jessica Hart, Karolina Kurkova, Anna Dello Russo, and makeup heiresses Virginie and Claire Courtin-Clarins.
