Neons may be everywhere you look this season, but classic black, white, and red still reign supreme as easy go-to colors that mix well and make for a high impact look. This past week, forum members incorporated combinations of this simple color palette into their ensembles. Here are some of the highlights.
ezzine, juneping, primad
Ezzine emulated Dolce & Gabbana in a chili pepper print Primark dress, Ginger Cheyenne heels, and H&M sunglasses.
Juneping’s red Alexander McQueen skull scarf added a shot of color to her black-and-white ensemble. She stepped out in black Uniqlo jeans, a white Zara blouse, Jil Sander sandals, and Prada sunglasses.
Primad wore a red ruffled Tibi top with Club Monaco ‘Marianna’ city shorts, a Zara blazer, Jeffrey Cambell for Pixie Market ‘Daul Painterly’ sandals, and a Gucci tote bag.
Liina, Rockin Republic, shoutouttoyou
Liina’s zebra-striped Iro tee worked well with her Helmut Lang skirt, Alexander Wang clutch, and Sam Edelman booties.
Rockin Republic paired her bright red skinny jeans from Zara with an H&M top, an Isabel Marant jacket, Zara lace-up booties, and a Zara tote bag.
Shoutouttoyou put together an Isabel Marant-inspired look with Cheap Monday striped jeans, a fishnet I.code by IKKS tank top, a New Look blazer, wedge sneakers by Manas, and a black patent shopper bag by Zalando Collection.
xoxoCat, justlikesushi, adorefaith
XoxoCat nipped in the waist of her Forever21 dress with a red patent belt from Banana Republic. She topped off the look with a Wilfred blazer, and accessorized with Christian Louboutin heels and a Chanel bag.
Justlikesushi wore vintage men’s overalls with a white blazer from Zara, an H&M neon yellow and crystal necklace, and a Cooee cuff bracelet.
Adorefaith donned skinny pants from H&M, a sweater by Joe Fresh, and Bloch ballet flats.
