Ferragao's 2013 Resort collection was held at The Louvre, marking the first time the museum has ever hosted a runway show (likely due to the fact that Ferragamo is sponsoring the Louvre's current da Vinci exhibition). The collection itself boasted a slew of rock-tinged closet staples including ones finished with snakeskin, fringe, and lace detailing.
Sleek, understated, and undeniably sophisticated, Frida Giannini's 2013 Resort collection for Gucci was brimming with flora print as well as monochrome streamlined separates and dresses in a range of colors, many of which came finished with jewel embelishements.
Sticking with the monochrome neutrals and luxe fabrics that nabbed the Olsen twins their CFDA Womenswear Award, there was a coziness to this season's The Row collection. Included in the lineup were ribbed turtlenecks, hooded tops, long trenches, fur-lined parkas, a silk caftan, and a loosely tailored gown.
Mixing seventies chic with classic separates and more fashion-forward standouts like oversized dot print pants, this season's Phoebe Philo-designed Celine collection was a well-balanced mix of loosely tailored separates.
