Twitterati Fashion Recap: Diane Kruger is Fashion's Reigning Queen, BryanBoy Joins ANTM, and More

This week on #Twitterati, Diane Kruger continues to impress the fashion crowds with her jaw-dropping attire, BryanBoy confirms joining the cast of America's Next Top Model, and Peter Dundas bares all to Harper's Bazaar. For more, including why you won't see Hedi Slimane's first two collections at YSL, keep reading this week's most happening fashion moments, events, and quotes according to Twitter's finest celebrities, top editors, and most followed bloggers.

Diane Kruger might have been selected as a juror for the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, but it was her non-stop show-stopping glamour that put her on a pedestal as fashion latest "It" girl. From a short and skin-baring Versus number to a stunning rose-gold Vivienne Westwood sparkler, Kruger delivered a slew of fabulous red-carpet hits while in Cannes — which did not go unnoticed by the fashion world. Of course, Twitter took note too.

Reality TV star and Hollywood stylist Brad Goreski raved, "Diane Kruger's looks at Cannes have been making my HEAD SPINNNNNNNN! I don't want it to end. She really can do NO wrong." Later in the week Brad posted a picture of Dianne in a gorgeous Christian Dior ball gown tweeting, "I honestly can't handle how amazing this is! red carpet drama at its finest."

Not only did Diane make it incredibly difficult for us to choose a favorite outfit, she also made us a bit envious. Wearing one of her more than amazing get-ups, Fashionologie tweeted, "Of course Diane Kruger is already wearing @CHANEL Resort 2013. Someone has to."

Fashion blogger Bryanboy added, Diane Kruger always looks soooooooo expensive. I love her." So do we.

Speaking of Bryanboy, the mega-fashion blogger, finally confirmed, via Twitter of course, that he would indeed by joining the cast of America's Next Top Model as a judge for  the show's 19th season. The blogger tweeted a picture of his trailer while confessing, "Never in my life Ive thought that one day I'm gonna have my own little cocoon in a trailer."

His new employer, Miss Tyra Banks, seems already smitten with the blogger tweeting, "Chillin' with @bryanboy on set, i noticed how gorgeous his eyes are. the shape is divine. MUST smize together soon!"

As expected, Bryanboy received a slew of congratulations upon confirming the news. Peter Som tweeted, "So excited for @bryanboy on @tyrabanks #americasnexttopmodel !" Wall Street Journal columnist Christina Binkley enthusiastically tweeted, "@BryanBoy arrives in LA today to take his role as latest judge on America's Next Top Model. Welcome to Lala land!" Red Carpet Fashion added, "@bryanboy Congrats on ANTM...I can't wait to see you in action x."

Apparently, the Tom Ford playbook has caught on, this time at the house of YSL. Confused? Let Twitter make it clear for you. After a myriad of rumors, Fashionologie confirmed that "Fashion editors are banned from Hedi Slimane's first two shows for YSL." Fashionista.com added, "Hedi Slimane's first collection for YSL will only be shown to buyers." While the French house has yet to comment on its decision, speculation is rampant. A majority agreed with the opinion of US Weekly's Fashion Director Sasha Carnin who tweeted, "Hedi Slimane will NOT do a runway show for his first YSL collection. Buyers only. blows. I think he's scared. He should be." As sad as this news is, maybe Hedi will use actresses and models to show off his collections a la Tom Ford? One can only dream.

Once upon a time, designers shuttered away from the public spotlight, leaving a sense of mystery to their private persona. Nowadays? Not so much, as designers take to all types of media, especially Twitter, to reveal their quirks, penchants, and oddities to the world. First came Tom Ford's super-revealing daily itinerary which included a very rigorous bath schedule, followed by Karl Lagerfeld's confession to a heavy addiction to Diet Coke, all told to Harper's Bazaar. The latest designer to jump on the candid bandwagon? Emilio Pucci's Peter Dundas, who bared more than just his lack of sleep attire. Fashionista.com summed up Dundas' schedule in a simple tweet: "Peter Dundas sleeps naked, owns 25 pieces of taxidermy and commutes to work by jet everyday." Upon which Styleite added, "Of course Peter Dundas flies from Paris to Florence for work everyday."

Can you imagine what Valentino's 24-hour profile would look like? I imagine a tanning bed somewhere in the midst.
