Hairstyle Chronicles: Jennifer Lopez Last Decade

From Jenny from the block to JLo to Ms. Jennifer Lopez mother of 2, actress, singer, designer, dancer and the list goes on. A well rounded celebrity and a fashion and style icon for more than a decade, Jennifer Lopez has long been a fixation for the beauty industry with her golden skin and desire to change her look she keeps us guessing what she will try next. So let's take a look at the last decade of Jennifer Lopez's hairstyles and colours. Never one to be afraid to express herself through her hair or clothing, I can't wait to see what she brings us for the next decade, but for now let's take a look at Jennifer Lopez's many hairstyles in the Hairstyle Chronicles for the last decade!

In 2000 Jennifer Lopez showed us that her style was influenced from the urban community. With her signature bejewelled bandana and half ponytail she was showing us her roots from the Bronx, reminding us that she may be making it in Holly wood, but will always remain Jenny from the block!

Letting her long golden looks flow on the cover of her 2001 album JLo started to have more of a free feeling with her hair!

Sticking with her natural hair colour, Jennifer tries a curly do for the MTV music video awards. The warm chestnut colour really brings out the glow in her skin.

In 2003 Jennifer tries a low chignon bun at the Golden Globes award showing us that simplicity is key in effortless style.

Trying out bangs on the red carpet, Jennifer Lopez makes bangs chic with a side swept fringe and a low ponytail bringing out that cool sophistication without too much hassle.

2005 brought a new shorter haircut for Jennifer Lopez; still with her signature honey browns in her hair she still brought her sexy flair to the equation.

Never to be scared to take style risk, Ms. Lopez shows us she ain't ever scared by donning a shimmering turban styled head wrap to the MTV video awards in 2006.

In her sedu hairstyle in 2007, Jennifer Lopez adds some body to her new straight hairstyle by using volumizing curls for movement.

Keeping it sleek in 2008, Ms. Lopez reminds us that not only her hair but her skin is one of her top features. Inspired by a ballerina bun she pulls all her back in a neat low bun.

Going back to her style with bangs, she tries a new longer fringe in a light honey colour. The colour really brings out her eyes and the way her hair styled is really beach chic.

Obviously liking the volume from her straight hairstyles in 2007, Jennifer starts making this volumous style her signature in 2010.

Now in 2011, Jennifer Lopez had added length to her new straight do that she has been seen wearing recently. Watching her through the years we can see that Ms. Lopez looks great in almost all hairstyles, which can't hurt in wanting to try something new!
