It happens to all of us. You go out with your girls and boys to a club, bar or other night time activity and you don't end up sleeping at your place like you planned because of certain circumstances. It's one of the ickiest feelings in the world when you wake up in someone elses house and don't have time to shower before you leave. Taking that morning commute home when you don't feel fresh is not a good way to begin your day and can really burst your bubble. There are a few things that every girl should carry in her purse so that in case of desperate times you can clean up in less than 5 minutes and make it home in one piece.
The first thing you should bring in your purse is a hairbrush. One of those small collapsible ones you can get at any dollarstore or pharmacy does the trick. The reason you want the collapsible one is because won't take up too much space in your bag. When you wake up you can tame your after party hair and look like an average commuter while very one else goes to work.
Another good item to always carry is a small bottle of baby powder. Yes baby powder. This wonderful white powder works wonders on hair. Your hair is looking a little greasy? Sprinkle a little bit of baby powder onto the greasy areas and rub it in. Repeat this until the grease has gone away and your hair looks clean again. The baby powder extracts all the bad grease and leaves the natural oils in your hair, so not only does it make you look fresh as a daisy, it's also super good for your little tresses as well!
Hair clips and elastics. If you really need to make a quick dash then throw your hair back in a nice messy bun or just clip your hair behind your head. Throw a little baby powder on your fringe and you're good to go.
Put these three things in your bag when you go out and no matter where you end up waking up you will be ready for the day. Without a doubt. Also it wouldn't hurt to keep these things at work, school, or in your car too. You never know!
