Miss: Mischa Barton was spotted leaving Whiskey Mist nightclub looking a little dazed and confused—maybe because she’s not sure how she ended up in this unfortunate dress. The fluttery sleeves, embellished cuffs and asymmetrical hem all contributed to the awkwardness of the outfit which didn’t flatter the actress’ figure and seemed like a very odd choice for a night of clubbing.
Hit: Cate Blanchett’s look at a party celebrating the summer issue of Gotham Magazine was as unique as the covergirl herself—the actress earned nods from Vogue’s best dressed list because of her directional but not overly sartorial outfit. Blanchett’s Givenchy dress and clutch featured a double-take-inducing shape and of-the-moment pattern, and her Roger Vivier sandals were the perfect styling choice.
