Wanna see diffusion done right? Check out brother-sister fashion brand camilla and marc’s new(ish) second line, C&M. Camilla and Marc Freeman launched C&M back in 2007 as swimwear-only, but have now expanded it into an accessible, affordable, youthful version of their luxe mainline.
C&M’s debut collection “Coachella Valley” finds inspiration in the Californian music festival, though anyone hoping to find a nicely over-elaborate feather headdress or see-through crochet mini dress will find themselves severely out of luck. C&M’s take on festival fashion is an effortless, energetic take on the brand’s mother line, channeling camilla and marc’s signature contemporary-feminine aesthetic into a range of crisp white dresses, latticed and scalloped shorts, and prints that scream “summer” louder than a neon snow cone.
The bold leopard pieces are particularly amazing, and a pair of white jeans printed with parrots are total genius. The Freeman siblings haven’t sacrificed quality either. The pieces that look like leather are actually leather and silk features heavily throughout, but you can still snap up a jersey top for $99 and nothing is priced above $400.
C&M comes as Camilla and Marc get ready to celebrate their 10-year anniversary as a fashion brand. In that time, they’ve cemented their place in the ranks of Australia’s most iconic new labels, and found followers among Kate Bosworth, Kirsten Dunst, Abbie Cornish, and Rose Byrne. What better way to pay tribute than in a pair of star-print PJ pants and matching button-up shirt?
