The 30-year-old singer unveiled her new blonde hairdo on her Instagram page early this morning - and is hoping to have lots more fun judging by the caption.
It read: "Do blondes have more fun???!!! I'll let you know #lorealFeria #blowout901girl!!" and shows the former Girls Aloud star pulling a funny face for the camera whilst scrunching her hair in her hand.
This isn't the first time that Cheryl has tried life as a blonde as back in 2011 she also sported the light hair colour, but soon reverted back to brunette.
This time it's second time lucky for the star - who is reportely in talks with ITV and Simon Cowell to return to the X Factor later this year.
Cheryl dropped the biggest hint so far when she posted a nostalgic X Factor picture on her Instagram page yesterday as part of Throwback Thursday.
Pointing a mean finger at the music mogul and wearing a stunning red dress, it looks as though Cheryl's reminiscent upload could be a hidden clue that she has made up her mind about her next career move.
Simon revealed earlier this week that he was in talks with the singer about a return to the show.
After announcing his departure from the US version of the show and his comeback to the UK, the 54-year-old admitted that while he was trying to get her to agree, she had her "poker face" on.
"It's about whether she wants to do it and whether she can handle the pressure, so I'm not quite sure yet," he revealed.
