We love our fast fashion shops like ASOS and Zara over here at the Fashion Spot (and forum members picked up some covetable items from there as usual), but big-ticket premium designer pieces are the things that really set our hearts aflutter. Luckily, there were some such purchases this past week that we can live vicariously through thanks to a few lucky ladies with great taste.

Rochasfille wrote, “Finally found my perfect winter coat from Marni. It’s puffy AND plaid AND has fur trim, i.e. ticks all the boxes.” She also bought a pair of Marc Jacobs pilgrim loafers. “Had to splurge on the Marc Jacobs pilgrim flats because they are just SO sparkly and purple. Hated the runway version but LOVE these,” she gushed.

Rochasfille rounded out her designer purchases with a pair of flat Balenciaga boots. “Decided on these Balenciaga boots as the perfect Chelsea boot I have been dying for this season,” she explained.
Hautechild hit up the Alexander Wang sample sale and was lucky enough to come away with a burgundy Donna bag.

Mistress_f called her purchase of a Silent Damir Doma coat her “wishful thinking act of the day, hoping that one winter and cold will come,” so that she can get some wear out of it.
Twill Bill also got in on the Chelsea boots trend with a pair from Church’s that has some brogue detailing.

Frickys did some more ASOS shopping this week, picking out a pair of acid wash skinny jeans and a pleated skater-style mini skirt with a jacquard finish. Both items are by ASOS Collection.

“Got this coat. I’m in love with it,” FASHIONLOVA declared of her new zip up coat with faux quilted leather sleeves from Zara. She also picked up a pair of knee-high stiletto boots.
