Rihanna is well known for her ever-changing look.

But what is great about the ever changing looks of celebrity styles is that they keep inspiring us to make better hair decisions.

Some have been great and some have been dismal.

We take a look at hairstyles that have changed how stylists do their work.

Remember Kagiso Rakosa's character on Generations, Sharon? She had was a big influence on the hair. While Kagiso graced our screens, there was even a hairstyle called 'uSharon.'

Another favourite at the salons was the Keri Hilson. Lasted longer than we all hoped.

Alicia Keys braids/plaits can still be seen a lot of throwback pictures.

Andile has that hair is always blond. She was a big influencer during the December holidays on the young and old. There is even a twitter handle for her hair: "I come in different shapes and sizes, bangs, long, short, curly, straight, 100% synthetic, kinky, real...but ALWAYS, ALWAYS blond!" We love it

Chomee showed off her blond look, that was very hot.

On the topic of love, Bonang Matheba loves her weaves so much it makes us all jealous too.

Azania seems to look good in any kind of hairstyle she rocks. But we recently loved her natural look.

Claire Mawisa had all the locked sisters in envy when she debuted the curly look.

Dineo Ranaka can really rock a head of curls.

How beautiful is Pabi Moloi with her clean shave? It's always brave when a woman goes clean like that. But its great to see someone you can emulate.

On the wild side; Jada Pinkett-Smith shows that you are never too old to be daring.
