The Best of the Red Carpet at Cosmopolitan's Ultimate Women Awards 2012

Earlier this week, Cosmopolitan held its exclusive Ultimate Women of the Year Awards 2012 sponsored by V05, and celebrity trendsetters were out in full force. From iconic pop stars to designers, they were all dressed to impress and impeccably groomed as they arrived at the legendary Victoria and Albert Museum for the ceremony.

Check out our best dressed pics from the night — the perfect inspiration for your winter party wardrobe.

  • Kimberly Walsh

Pop star Kimberly Walsh, from the recently reformed Brit group, Girls Aloud, and a recent contestant on Strictly Come Dancing, turned heads in this aqua lace number!. She accessorized the floor-length bead- and sequin-embellished piece with a compulsory clutch and perfect baby pink heels.

  • Chloe Green

We love the gold body con that the Topshop heiress opted for, but do we spy Louboutins? Surely, she should be wearing a pair of heels from her own new collection.

  • Louise Redknapp

Former pop star and current WAG Louise Redknapp played it safe in a long sleeved LBD, but that strategic cut-out patterned detail ups her outfit's fashion stakes.

  • Heidi Range

Sugababe Heidi wore a show-stopping black gown with eye-catching lace back detail. The perfect ethereal number, right?

  • Nicole Scherzinger

She may be currently busy as a judge on the UK’s number one talent show, X Factor, but Nicole found time to do what she does best: up the glam stakes and dominate that red carpet. She complimented her backless white dress with a pair of eye-popping hot pink heels.

  • Alesha Dixon

It’s always nice to see somebody who looks a bit different than the rest, and by this we mean that Alesha opted for a trouser rather than a glamorous dress. She does get points for daring to be different, although we’re not entirely sure ifthe outfit actually works.
