Florence Welch's Latest Makeup Look Is Just Another Reason to Love Her

Florence Welch has one of the most distinctive looks in music today, and her beautiful Laura Mercier makeup look for the LACMA Art + Gala really showed her striking features off to their best effect. What’s more, this is a look — bold lip, defined eyes — that is flattering on everyone. The key here is how well the colors matched Welch’s coloring and really complimented her Gucci dress.

First makeup artist Lisa Aharon prepped skin with ReVive Sensitif Oil Free Lotion SPF 15, $195, and ReVive Eye Renewal Cream, $120. For foundation she then she applied Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Creme Compact SPF 20 in Nude ($45), with Secret Camouflage #3, $30, and Mineral Powder in Tender Rose, $36, to conceal undereye circles and any uneven skintone or spots. Florence’s flattering flush came from Second Skin Cheek Colour in Wild Bouquet, $24, on the apples of the cheeks.

Aharon blended Metallic Creme Eye Colour in Gold, $22, up to the crease of Welch’s eye, with Illuminating Eye Colour, $24, in Gilded Bronze and Gilded Moonlight on top. Eyes were lined with Caviar Eyeliner in Chestnut, $22, and lashes coated with Full Blown Volume Lash Building Mascara, $24.

The lip really makes this look. It was created with Creme Smooth Lip Colour in Sienna, $26. This makeup goes to show, don't be afraid of a little color!
