Stuart Weitzman Unveils the Second Edition of His Young Hollywood Cares Collection

There's a new crop of young stars designing shoes for the second edition of Stuart Weitzman's Young Hollywood Cares Collection. Julianne Hough, Chloë Grace Moretz, Nikki Reed, Brooklyn Decker, and AnnaSophia Robb all helped fashion styles for the collection, with proceeds benefitting ovarian cancer research. The footwear offerings this time around range from ankle boots to platform pumps and even oxfords. None of the chosen celebs have worn the collection on the red carpet yet, so here’s a breakdown of the stylish designs.

Julianne certainly wowed at the Emmys last month in this strapless Georges Hobeika Couture embellished mermaid gown. She polished off the stunning look with a pair of Brian Atwood Karin platform sandals. The imposing $425 high-heeled lace-up platform oxfords she co-created for the Young Hollywood Cares Collection are the polar opposite of those delicate platform sandals.

At the London premiere of Dark Shadows back in May, Chloë dressed up in a McQ Alexander McQueen Fall 2012 dress with black leather belt accent and the brand’s oxblood ankle strap pumps. While the menswear-style oxfords she crafted may be a bit more laid-back, The Chloë Grace has a sophistication all its own. The pita vachetta coloring adds an extra dimension to this $375 novelty.

The pleated Lela Rose Resort 2013 textured dress with silver waistband accent Nikki selected for August’s 2012 Do Something Awards in Santa Monica was perfectly complemented by Jimmy Choo Sierra sandals. Her new $425 black goose-bump calfskin pump has a 4¾" heel and a 1½" platform. Dynamic cut-out accents help elevate the shoe even further.

Brooklyn picked a fun printed Kirna Zabête for Target blouse and a black skirt for the Fall Installment of The Shops at Target celebration in September. Ankle strap Givenchy heels finished off her New York City look, but the $495 black nappa ankle boots she co-designed have a lot more edge. Details like multiple straps and a metallic cap-toe make these boots truly covetable.

As the star of The Carrie Diaries, AnnaSophia’s style is being placed under the microscope. This black drop waist Juicy Couture merino wool tennis dress and Salvatore Ferragamo Varina patent ballet flats combination she sported for the 2012 Epic Awards in New York City in April proves the budding actress is willing to play with fashion. The $425 black pony hair stiletto with burgundy piping she contributed to this collection also shows some style prowess and has a real “Carrie” quality.

All of these celeb-influenced designs are available now at StuartWeitzman.com.
