You know the feeling: you get to a party feeling fly in an outfit you agonized over—only to find that some girl stole your look. That’s probably to be expected in something standard like an LBD, but white capes, witch hats, and bishop sleeves aren’t things you expect to see on celebs every day—that’s why we did a double-take when we spotted more than one fashionista wearing these head-turning trends. From Elle Fanning and Anne Hathaway to Lady Gaga and Rachel Zoe, check out our latest roundup of look-alike looks—and weigh in on which celeb you think deserves to sue her copycat for outfit infringement.

Lately celebs have enjoyed taking a step back in time in romantic, vintage-inspired silhouettes on the red carpet, like the flowing floral chiffon dresses that Elle Fanning and Anne Hathway recently made entrances in. Fanning went antique at the New York Film Festival premiere of Ginger & Rosa in a 1930s vintage dress. Her bishop-sleeved dress featured a mixed floral and polka dot pattern and sheer details, and the young tastemaker updated the look with gold Marni platform shoes. Hathaway’s look at the NYC Ballet Gala was a bit less whimsical and more high glamour. Her Valentino dress cascaded into a flowing train (which got stepped on at the event), and its voluminous sleeves and muted floral print evoked renaissance paintings.

Halloween must be approaching because Lady Gaga and Rachel Zoe have been trying out witch costumes. These are two high-powered women who have most likely been called a witch before, but until now have never dressed like one. With her high-necked heavy black dress and wide brimmed black hat, Gaga looked ready to cast a spell on the paparazzi as she left the Ecuadorian Embassy in London where she dined with Wikileaks leader Julian Assange. At the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic, Zoe was a warm weather witch in a black maxi with a utility style belt, a chunky statement necklace, and round spectacles. She topped off her spellbinding look with a black vintage Dior turban. Kourtney Kardashian also wore a turban recently—do we notice a trend?

No cold shoulders here—Solange Knowles and Sienna Miller looked like style superheros in their sleek white dresses with capes. At the amfAR Milan Fashion Week gala, Knowles wore a long-sleeved Rubin Singer dress with a cut-out back and cape that draped elegantly over one shoulder. Miller’s Alessandra Rich ivory sheath at the Hampton’s International Film Fesival featured a unique design with cape-like sleeves. Both actresses accessorized with gold cuff bracelets.
