Julia Nobis Looks Her Otherworldly Best in Jack + Jac's First International Campaign

As a kid, you were probably warned that you shouldn’t play favourites, which is a fair enough call if you’re playing Bullrush but not if you’re a fashion label teetering on the brink of international knitwear domination and your favourite is Julia Nobis.

As proof, here is Nobis again looking her otherworldly best for Sydney-based brand Jack + Jac’s first international campaign. The relationship between the burgeoning fashion label and one of Australia’s most successful models now goes back three seasons, with Nobis also starring in Jac + Jack’s similarly stripped-back Spring and Winter campaigns last year.

This particularly fresh shoot was lensed by David Armstrong in his four-story Brooklyn brownstone. Documenting Nobis and Canadian model Lowell Tautchin in a series of intimate moments, the naturally lit photographs are the perfect way to highlight the casual-luxe, summery, cruising on a fancy yacht drinking virgin Mint Juleps vibes of the brand’s Spring 2012 collection. Encompassing Jack + Jac’s signature luxurious knits along with a string of simple separates in merino, silks and cottons, the collection is a step forward for the increasingly lifestyle-focused brand.

Since launching Jack + Jac in 2004, Jac Hunt and Lisa ‘Jack’ Dempsey have branched out into women’s woven apparel, accessories, eyewear, menswear and homewares. Spring 2012 is dropping in stores this month.
