If anyone was looking for grunge to go away this season, they will be sadly disappointed. Many of the designers of London Fashion Week took an undone approach to this season's beauty with just as many opting for simple, natural looks as crazy and unwearable. For the crazy, you'll have to wait for our round up at the end of fashion month, but in the meantime, here are 10 of our favorite looks from LFW.
With spring and summer makeup, it's all about great skin and a natural, youthful look. There's no better way than with radiant skin and the girls at Roksanda were practically glowing. To get the glossy eye, Lucia Pica mixed Vaseline with concealer to give it a shining finish.

Fake freckles have been everywhere this season and Val Garland used both lip and eye pencils to get these exaggerated dots. Stay tuned after fashion week and we'll show you how to get (and wear!) the look yourself.

Many people were ready to declare the end of the grunge trend but it seems designers in London weren't ready to part just yet. This look with its smudged out eye and big waves is a perfect modern take on the trend and we hope Holland's loyal hipsters take notice (read: step away from the top knot).

For this simple retro face, Val Garland used a BB cream and simple black liner to get the look. Groomed brows and glossy lips finished off the look and it's definitely one we'll be recreating this spring.

With spring often comes bright lips and fresh faces. This bubblegum pink lip might be a bit much but the soft satin finish takes away from the shock of the color and makes it perfectly wearable for spring.

We saw a lot of two-tone eyes last season and it didn't really kick off but we're still holding out that people will start adopting this trend. At Unique, Hannah Murray created this pretty punk look by mixing two of the brand's cream blushes on the lid and using a dark red lipstick as a contour color.

For beginners in the two-tone eye trend, this look by makeup artist Lisa Potter-Dixon featured Benefit's Bad Gal Waterproof Liner in Espresso under the lash line.

Inspired by seventies disco punk the Saunders woman was mysterious, but still pretty. If you're working a strong look such as this, be sure to keep the skin dewy as it will cut the severity of your accented features.

There were a lot of bold and bright lips in London but they were all topped by Andrew Gallimore's two-tone version. Now a pink/orange version might not be practical for everyday but take a cue from Jason Wu in New York and apply pink in the center of a red lip for an extra boost.

After years of the same classic and neutral beauty look at Burberry, we were all surprised to see a bold tomato-toned lip on the runway for the heritage brand. Given how luxe the brand's cosmetics line is, it's about time they played around on the runway.
