I think the Cannes Film Festival might be my favorite event of the year when it comes to hairstyles-maybe because, rather than being one utterly overwhelming parade of gorgeousness (as in: the Met Gala), we get to gaze at/relish one or two starlets at a time, as each film premieres. Plus, there's just something so nostalgic and romantic about the location and the event, which leads to really creative and memorable hairstyles.
Out of all the Cannes hair moments we've seen, though, this is probably my personal favorite: when the stunning Frieda Pinto stepped onto the red carpet last year with the most whimsical hairpins all aflutter in her updo.
