Mara Hoffman: Always a Swim Week standout, Mara Hoffman found inspiration from nature, mythology, and folk art for her collection this season. The lineup included an array of colorful custom-designed prints and a wide range of solid colors including blue, coral, red, poppy, violet, magenta, and black. Braiding, lattice detailing, seed beading, and multiple straps were seen throughout the collection. The designer also expanded on her cover-ups and day-to-night pieces with, among others, poncho and pleated draped chiffon dresses.
Agua Bendita: Designers Catalina Alvarez and Mariana Hinestroza presented a collection high on sex appeal with a lineup that mixed military, cowboy, and marine influences with beads, appliqués, sequins, and bold colors.
Lisa Blue: This season's Lisa Blue collection brought a mix of Grecian-inspired pieces (think draped fabrics and gold accents) and Egyptian-influenced looks (think head pieces and winged eye makeup). Though some cuts were on the daring side, there were plenty of wearable pieces in the collection.
Dolores Cortes: With lots of bows, candy colored suits, and vibrant tropical prints, this season's Dolores Cortes collection went in a decidedly feminine and frilly direction. Animal accents, cut-outs, and tribal prints were also prominently featured.
